Questions

Straight answers.

What is CarriBag?

CarriBag connects two people going the same way. One is already travelling between two cities and has spare bag space. The other needs to send something small on that route. We help them find each other, agree a price, and hand it over safely.

How does sending work?

Enter two cities and a date. You will see travellers going that way. Pick one, describe your item, and send a request. When they accept, you meet and they check the item. You give them a pickup code. Then you follow the trip until it arrives.

How does a traveller earn?

Post the trip you are already making. Say how much space you can spare. Senders on that route will ask you. Check the item, and accept if you are happy. You are paid after the delivery is confirmed.

What can I send?

Small, legal, packaged things. Documents, keys, and similar personal items. Never money, gold, jewellery, alcohol, tobacco, weapons, or medicines without papers. If the traveller cannot see inside, they should not carry it.

How do you verify users?

A licensed partner checks identity before anyone can carry. The verified badge appears only after that check passes. Your ID documents are never shown to another user.

What happens if something goes wrong?

Report it from the trip screen. We hold the payment until delivery is confirmed. So money does not move while a problem is open. Support reviews the photos, codes and times, then decides.

How is payment handled?

You pay through CarriBag when the traveller accepts. We hold the money until the delivery code is entered. Then the traveller is paid and CarriBag keeps a platform fee. You see the full breakdown before you pay.

Can I cancel?

Yes, before pickup. How much you get back depends on how late you cancel. We show you the rule before you confirm. After pickup, it becomes a support case.

Can I use CarriBag for flights?

Not yet. Airline and airport rules for carrying someone else's item are strict. They are different from a train or a bus. We will not open flights until that has been reviewed properly. Trains, buses and cars work today.

How do I report a suspicious item?

Use Report on the trip or chat screen, or contact support. Never carry something you are unsure about. You can refuse at handover. Refusing for a safety reason never counts against you.

Going the same way?

Two cities, one date. That is all it takes to start.

A little space goes a long way.
